On Friday, a fantastic team of North Shore Rotary volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help Woven Earth with the first stage of their move to new premises in Silverdale.

As Woven Earth prepares to relocate to a larger warehouse that will allow them to continue their incredible work supporting families in our community, our members were proud to lend a hand moving furniture and equipment. It was a big job, but one made easier through teamwork, plenty of muscle, and a shared commitment to helping others.

The kind words we received afterwards meant the world to us. Woven Earth CEO Keryn shared:

“I just want to say the biggest thank you to you both and the team who came along yesterday. What absolutely wonderful people you are, and I am so grateful for the help, but more than that too, the way you all showed up with such an amazing attitude and helped make the day go so smoothly. You’re all wonderful, and I feel so proud of what we achieved yesterday. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.”

Thank you to everyone who gave their time on Friday. Supporting organisations like Woven Earth is what Rotary is all about; people coming together to strengthen our community, one project at a time.

A small group of members will be back at Woven Earth on Saturday to help restore the old warehouse to its pre-occupation state before Woven Earth hands it back to the owner.

We wish the Woven Earth team every success as they settle into their new home and continue making such a positive difference in the lives of so many.
