Our North Shore Rotary LegaTree project continues to thrive, with members recently returning to the planting site for another maintenance day.

On Sunday, 11 January, a dedicated group of Rotarians, along with friends and family, spent a glorious day caring for our young Kauri trees. The team removed weeds from around the plantings and spread fresh mulch to help protect the trees through the summer months.

It was incredibly encouraging to see so much new growth across the site. The vast majority of our trees are flourishing, with only a small number of losses since planting. The success of the project is a testament to the ongoing commitment of our volunteers and the importance of regular maintenance in helping these native trees establish and thrive.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to support this important environmental project. We look forward to watching our Kauri continue to grow for many years to come.
