North Shore Rotarians were out at 2 locations today doing their bit to Keep NZ Beautiful.We were joined by students from Rangitoto College and Westlake Boys High School, one of our local MPs Cameron Brewer and Auckland City Rotaract.
Our efforts at Albany and Onewa Domain resulted in collecting: 100 full bags of rubbish. 1 hoarding, 1 outside chair, 1 office chair,1 footstool,2 mattresses, 2 couch cushions, 7 road cones, 6 tyres, 30 trolleys (3 pulled from Lucas Creek and Albany Lake, the others were returned to their rightful homes),2 polystyrene fish bins, a trolley full plastic bottles, another full of drink cans and a couch!
We are happy to have made some difference in our local community.
